Today Gail and I took a short spin along the harbor and rode past the Midway ship. Very impressive and got back for our orientation meeting, tire changing class, and 30 introductions of all the riders. We have to have are luggage downstairs by 6:45am tomorrow and all the luggage gets weighed and you must meet a 50 pound limit between 2bags. Luckily Tom Devitt will be there to take back anything We can't have. Then it is breakfast and a short 3mile ride to the ocean where we dip our rear tire. The ride is then 34 miles east to Alpine and the forecast is rain, thunderstorms, and high winds from the west at 15-25mph.Which I hope is a tailwind.
More stories to tell you in tomorrow's blog.
